The house was built in the 1720-1730s, known as “Apartment House” (along the 1st line of Vasilievsky island). With the new owner, merchant Alfred Betling, in 1866-1867 the fourth floor was erected and the facade was changed again.
The ceiling height of 4.5 m, large windows and chimney
for the fireplace arethe ideal combination for designing
the traditional “St. Petersburg” apartment.
In this interior, we were immediately able to feel
the atmosphere and comprehend the customer’s desire.
His subtle aesthetic perception of small details and love
for vintage interior items made it possible for us to enjoy
the work process from beginning to end.
